We will be offering a Firefighter 1 & 2 Day Class starting
June 7th, 2010 ending August 27th, 2010.
Class hours will be from 8am to 6pm Monday through Friday.

Applications are now available online or in person at the
Nokomis Volunteer Fire Dept
Station 41. 111 Pavonia Road 1 block south of Mathews
Currie Ford just off U.S. 41.
FiFire Academy applications online. Please click on the "Fire Academy" tab and click on application. Fill out completely and use the submit button at the bottom. Full Applications will be available at the Nokomis Fire Station 41 on March 15th, 2010. If you plan on attending class you will need to have one of these completed before the Practice Ability Test. Dates for the tests are as follows: Practice Ability Test is April 17th, 2010 Entrance Ability Test is May 1st, 2010. Application process is currently open for the day class starting in June.
Nokomis has the 5th ranked Fire Academy in the state with a
95% pass rate.
